Ruth C. (nee Abney), beloved wife of the late Richard Morter; devoted mother of Deborah Ann (Michael) Griffith and the late Earl J. (Brenda) Dunn; loving grandmother of Christie L. (Eric) Helton and Brian Earl (Candi) Dunn; great grandmother of Zachary, Trinity, and Isaiah Dunn; dear sister of Leo Abney. Passed away July 21, 2012. Age 74. Longtime resident of Norwood. Visitation at New Bethel Baptist Church, Norwood & Forest Avenues, Norwood, OH on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Kirk Pike presiding, followed by burial at Rest Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Cincinnati Chapter or New Bethel Baptist Church.
