Charlotte Langefeld

LANGEFELD, Charlotte. Born November 16, 1934 in Ashland, Ohio. Passed away April 1, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Family lived in Defiance, Ohio and moved to Norwood, Ohio in 1946. Charlotte was the class valedictorian of Norwood High School in 1952. She taught English and Social Studies at Withrow High School and Madeira High School. Wife of Nelson Langefeld and the late Ralph Knost. Daughter of the late Rev. John E. and Dorothy (nee Oberholtzer) Hofer, Sr. Sister of Rev. John E. (Barbara) Hofer, Jr. Aunt of Mark (Joyce), Michael, Herbert (Tammy) Hofer, Mark, Christopher (Terri), James Clark, and Valerie Price. Great aunt of 16. Step-mother of Gregory Langefeld, Sr. and Jennifer (Carrol) McDonald. Step-grandmother of Gregory (Rina), Andrew, and Elizabeth Langefeld, John (Charity) McDonald, and Sarah (Timothy) Born. Step-great grandmother of 5. Visitation will  be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 Maple St., Reading, OH 45215 from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.  In place of flowers, please direct memorials to the Church.
