Ann Barker

Ann Barker, 80, passed away on September 9, 2026Mason, Ohio Born in 1945, 

Ann lived a full and spirited life. In her younger years, she was beautiful, vibrant, and full of energy—the kind of person who could walk into a room and become part of the action. She loved having a good time and was often the life of the party. She also had a special love for animals. Those who knew Ann will remember her strong personality, her sense of humor, her independence, and the unmistakable presence she brought wherever she went.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Barker; her sister, Mary; and her brother, Ronnie. She is survived by her son, Darrin; her sisters, Nancy and Joy Lynn; her best friend, Margaret; along with family and friends who shared many years and memories with her.

The family would like to sincerely thank the people who helped and cared for Ann throughout the years. Their kindness and support meant a great deal.A service celebrating Ann's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 18, 2026, at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246. 

The service will be followed by a graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery and a social gathering at the VFW on Reading Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cincinnati SPCA in Ann's memory.May Ann rest peacefully free of pain and worry.
