Annie Grubbs

Grubbs, Anna Lou “Annie”, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH. She was the widow of Morris D Grubbs. Survived by her loving partner & spouse, William Meents, whom she shared 30+ wonderful years with. Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of Andrew and Myrtle Walters. She had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Church, where she worshipped with all her heart. Annie loved collecting antiques and thrift shopping. She also enjoyed getting pampered and tending to her flowers. Most of all, Annie’s best days were spent with her family as a beloved partner, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her daughter; Angelia Covington, her two sons; Daniel Grubbs and Brian Grubbs, her grandchildren; Danny Bruce, Alex Grubbs, Dustin Bruce, Dylan Grubbs, Jack Grubbs, and Karrie Grubbs, and her great-grandson; Jaxton Brown.

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 10am until time of service at 12noon. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
