In loving memory of Antonio Montiez Broadnax Jr., we announced with broken hearts the passing on July 2, 2026 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on November 4, 1998, in Fairfield, Ohio, Antonio brought light and energy to all who knew him.
Antonio was the beloved son of Dawn Hines and Antonio Broadnax Sr. He also leaves behind his siblings: Jaiden Broadnax, Amani Hines, Monteiz Broadnax, Makenzie Courtney, Kamarah Courtney, Kingston Barwick, Princeton Barwick, and Jaxton Barwick, His grandparents Karen Hines, Timothy Whitehead, and Cheryl Broadnax held a special place in his heart. Along with many family members and friends who loved him including his blood brothers Justin and Man Man. Antonio’s legacy lives on through his children: Amorah Johnson, Amaya Broadnax, Camilla King, and Cee'zen Broadnax.
Antonio faced life’s challenges with resilience and an unyielding spirit. Despite the difficulties he encountered throughout his life, he never let them define him. Known for his infectious humor and vibrant personality, Antonio was the life of every gathering. Whether he was cracking jokes or sharing funny stories, he had a unique ability to bring joy to those around him.
Antonio had always loved spending time with his family making all the memories and allowing us all to carry on those happy moments as we are here as one to get through this traumatic time that has change our lives forever.
Antonio had thought of himself as a chef and would always be in the kitchen creating masterpiece meals especially on Sundays for dinner. He would make sure to teach anyone that was up in the kitchen how to cook because he always the best cook in the house to him. He was a passionate basketball enthusiast, Antonio loved stepping onto the court to showcase his skills. He delighted in teaching younger players the game while keeping older ones on their toes, often breaking ankles with his moves. His love for basketball was matched only by his impeccable sense of style; Antonio was known for his fresh kicks and bold outfits that made him stand out wherever he went.
Antonio’s faith was important to him as a non-denominational believer. His unwavering support for others shone through even during his toughest times. He had a remarkable way of being there for people when they needed it most. He had done outreach programs in Indian Kentuck Baptist Church in Indiana, and also been baptized at Vineyard Church in Tri-County of Springdale, Ohio.
Antonio will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory continue to inspire laughter and strength in those who carry it forward. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio, 45246.
