Carla Jean Williams

WILLIAMS, Carla Jean (nee Mowat). Beloved wife of the late Robert Williams. Devoted mother of Stevin (Cathy), Gary (Barbara), and Karen (Chris) Williams. Loving grandmother of Robert (Elly), Christopher (Stacy), Todd (Megan), Robert (Shannon) Williams; Kathleen (Dustin) Dumont, Renee (Robby) Street, Kelly (Josh) and Adam (Carly) Farwick. Great grandmother of 13. 

Carla was a devoted stay at home mother. She belonged to the garden club in Woodlawn, was an avid bowler, and she helped lead a Cub Scout troop for her boys. When her husband Bob started their family business, Perma View Inc., Carla went back to the work world and worked in the business keeping the books, answering the phones, filling in wherever she was needed. Fun fact, Carla's first job was a waitress on roller skates at Steak ‘n Shake in Reading, Ohio. In the last segment of her life, for 25 years she devoted her time to volunteering weekly with the Shriners Burns Institute. She was also a member of the daughters of the Nile and was honored to be the supreme queen for a year. Carla was very present in her grandchildren’s lives as they grew up and many times could lean on their grandmother for guidance and unconditional love. She also hosted the best Easter egg hunts ever!!

Carla passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at age 92.

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 11AM until time of funeral service at 12Noon. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
