Carthel Edwin, 95, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather was summoned to the throne of his heavenly God on June 18, 2015. He responded with the same love, duty, service and grace that stirred him to the call in World War II. Born April 10, 1920 to Christian parents, Herschel and Della Gosser. Visitation on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood from 5:00 PM until time of homegoing service at 7:00 PM. Interment but no graveside service at Pine Grove Cemetery in the Gosser Ridge Community of Russell County, KY, his boyhood home. Memorial donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45299-3095 or charity of choice.
