CARTER, Charles D. “Charlie”. Beloved husband of the late Connie M. (nee Heckle) Carter. Devoted father of Charles W. Carter, Randy Carter, and the late Linda (Larry) Korsnak. Loving grandfather of Sean (Adriana) Korsnak, Sara (Jason Sand) Korsnak, Samantha (Josh) Brubaker, and Jeremy (Shelby) Carter. Great grandfather of Brandi, Kaydence, Avery, Lula, Adalee, Kobe, and Maci. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by eight sisters and one brother.
Charlie passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at age 88.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk, Springdale, OH 45246 from 11am until time of service at 12noon. Burial will follow at Reading Cemetery.
