September 27, 1913 — February 14, 2017
SMITH, Chester A. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Lindsey Smith & Rae H. Smith. Devoted father of Timothy C. (Sylvia) Smith, Stephen H. (Donna) Smith, Elizabeth G. (Richard) Sedgwick, Catherine G. (Kip) Mueller, and Roman (Evann) Garrison. Dear brother of the late Ruth Hammelrath and Virginia Goldmeyer. Loving grandfather of seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Chester passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the age of 103 years. A memorial service will be held at Ascension & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 334 Burns Ave., Wyoming, OH 45215 on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to a charity of one's choice.
