Diane Anita (Richard) Breakall of Cincinnati Ohio, passed away on July 13, 2025, after a long and fulfilling life of 90 years.

Diane was born on October 17, 1934, to Marie Anne (Forcier) and Michel Richard in Manchester New Hampshire. She lived in Suncook, NH until she was 18 years old and then moved to York, Pennsylvania. It was there that she met her former husband, Donald Smith. Together they had five children.

Diane married James Breakall in 1991. Together they enjoyed dancing, traveling, concerts in the park, going to festivals, and taking walks. Their greatest joy, though, was being with their family.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother Andre and sister Jaqueline, husband James, and son Steven.

Greatly loved by surviving children Mike (Roni), Rick (Eileen), Sharon (Perry), Dennis (Tina); stepchildren Gary (Judy), Jim (Dorothy), Kenny (Heather), and Penny (Bob); grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Harrison, Andrew, Alex, Jeremy, Nicole, David, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Levi, Sadie, Evelyn, Vincent, Caroline, Jack, and Theodore.

A celebration of life will be held at Hope Church, 4934 Western Row Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040 on Friday, July 25, 2025. The service will begin at 11:00am. Following the service guests are welcome to greet the family and stay for lunch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Diane Breakall, directing your gift to Ohio.
