Newman, Diane Elaine (nee Klems). Loving wife of 30 years to the late Robert Alan (Bobby) Newman. Devoted mom to Heather (Adam) Dahl & Aireka (Roger) Gardner. Doting “Grandma Diane” to Jacob & Hannah Dahl. Dear sister to William (Georgia) Klems, Cheryl Sievers, & Susan (Burt) Tackett. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, & so many beloved friends. Her precious pup, Gidget, misses her deeply, but is now the newest member of the Dahl house, playing with the “grand pups”, Daisy & Lily.
Diane was born to the late William & Georgia Klems on November 27, 1951. She left this earth to be forever with Jesus on April 3, 2022, at the age of 70, after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She spent her final days enveloped in love, surrounded by family & friends.
Diane will be remembered for her love of life & her strong faith. She embraced being a wife, mom, & especially her role as Grandma. She had a passion for music, & was known for playing her flute, from marching band at Withrow High School to playing at different events & churches. She had a heart for children & will be fondly remembered by the many she cared for over the years. Her love of all things Christmas & Disney brought joy to so many, as did the beautiful blankets she so lovingly made. She will be forever in our hearts.
