With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Dr. Walter William Timperman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Born on September 14, 1931, in New Albany, IN to Lawrence and Hilda Timperman. Walter was a graduate of Xavier University, and the University of Cincinnati Medical School.
Walter was a well-respected General Surgeon practicing across Cincinnati hospitals for more than three decades. It wasn’t uncommon for his family to hear about how well he took care of his patients when running into former patients and their families around town.
While Walter enjoyed fishing and hunting as hobbies, his most cherished pastime was his role as a team physician to the Cincinnati Bengals for 39 years, and to the Cincinnati Reds for 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Patricia, and their five children: Ann (Bruno), Walter Jr., Theresa (Cardone), Susan (Ruhl), and Thomas. Walter and Pat are proud grandparents of twelve, and proud great-grandparents of five.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter’s memory to Hospice of Cincinnati HospiceDonate
