Elmer Bebeau

BEBAUElmer E., passed away Sunday evening, March 13, 2011 at Twin Towers Assisted Living at the age of 90. Devoted husband of Ruth (nee Helmke) Bebeau for 63 years. Loving father of Wayne Bebeau of Boston, MA, Craig (Teresa) Bebeau of Summerville, SC, and Brian (Tracy) Bebeau of Cincinnati, OH. Cherished grandfather of Allison (Francis), Julia (fiance Victor), Christopher, Joey, and Desiree.Elmer was born July 25, 1920 in Manitowoc, WI, son of the late Ellison and Sophie (nee Feltman) Bebeau. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. On July 3, 1947 he married Ruth (nee) Helmke. Elmer was employed by Motorola in the Chicago area for over 35 years as a technical writer and electronic technician. He enjoyed retirement for 21 years in Sun Lakes, AZ before moving to Cincinnati to be with family. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH, Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Additional visitation at Twin Towers Retirement Community - Wilson Chapel, 5343 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224 on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 10:45 AM.
