(nee Gibson), beloved wife of the late Edward Benton; devoted mother of Raymond (Emilie) Cassidy, Robert (Jeanne) Benton, and the late Charles Cassidy and Thomas Benton; loving grandmother of seven; great grandmother of ten; dear sister of the late Alma, Irma, Ruth, Joseph, and George. Passed away December 12, 2012. Age 84. Visitation at St. Clement Catholic Church, 4536 Vine Street, St. Bernard, Monday, December 17, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
