Gary R Ruble

Gary Russell Ruble, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Debra Ruble (née Earls).

Gary was the proud father of four children: Tatia (Tony) Singleton, Desirae (Heath) Crouch, Wendi (Damien) Hurier, and Gary (Katelyn Cope) Ruble. His ten grandchildren—Brandon, Michaela, Nathanael, Marley, Seraphina, Ella, Josalie, Camilla, Roman, and Adrian, and his great-granddaughter, Zelda - were the light of his world and brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his loving siblings Regina (Jimmie) Ashford, Rosina Kreis, Ramona Willison , Deborah Smith-Bray, Greg Ruble, Denise (Terry) Phillips, and Deanna Ruble and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Beulah Ruble; his brother, Eddie Vaughn Ruble; brothers-in-law, Tracy Kreis and Ron Willison; and best friend and brother-in-law, Billy Smith.

A gifted musician and artist, Gary will be remembered by many with a guitar in his hands and a song on his lips. His artistry, humor, and creativity touched countless lives. Beyond his many talents, Gary’s deepest devotion was to his faith in Jesus Christ. He was a lifelong member of Landmark Church, where he served in the worship band. He freely shared his Christian testimony through music, writing, and fellowship as well as ministries to both the young and the elderly.

Gary’s legacy is one of love, laughter, music, and unwavering faith. He was adored by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
