CARTER, Harman Lee. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia Marie (nee Scott) Carter. Devoted father of Shirley Hoaglund, Wanda (Chris) Gastiger, and Lisa (Andy) Grubbs. Loving grandfather of Eric (Theresa) Hughes, Jill (Albert Chung) Hughes, Hayley Gastiger, Andrew Withers, and Luke Grubbs. Great grandfather of four. Dear brother of Frank E. Carter, Hilda F. Carter Vandergriff; and the late, Roy G. Carter, Jr., Wesley J. Carter, Helen M. Carter, Ruth Carter Parsons, Wanda S. Carter, and Lawrence R. Carter.
Harman passed on April 1, 2019 at the age of 89 years. A Celebration of Harman's Life will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, OH 45212 on Saturday, April, 27, 2019 at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Norwood Community Senior Center 4645 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 (checks made payable to: Norwood Community Seniors).
