Hattie May Davis was born in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio on March 31st 1943.
She graduated from Minford High School in 1961 and was recruited by the FBI to work in Washington, D.C. And over the next several years Hattie moved to Florida and California before making her way back to Ohio. Hattie had a sense of adventure and curiosity. She loved new experiences and particularly the opportunity to share what she’d discovered. Hattie was smart and clever and always a step ahead of the rest of us. Hattie could both make and take a joke with grace. Her wit and sense of humor were razor sharp. Animals of all sorts and small children were attracted to Hattie, they instantly recognized her kindness and intuitively sensed comfort in her strength. Hattie will be missed
