Hazel Grimes

GRIMES, Hazel (nee Fleming). Beloved wife of the late Billy F. Grimes. Devoted mother of Sandy (Tim) Brown, Sherry (Rick) Stidham, and the late Debbie (Ron) Daniels. Loving grandmother of Anthony, Angel, Joe, Brittany; and several great and great-great grandchildren. 

Hazel was a lifelong and well known resident of Norwood and worked at the Norwood Schools in the cafeteria for 30 years. She was also a member of New Haven Baptist church for over 50 years. To know her was to love her. She was always the life of the party and loved to dance. Her greatest joy was her family and she will be greatly missed.

Hazel passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025 at age 87.

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 6-8PM. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11AM with Pastor Mike Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
