James Blake Saylor

Jan 31, 1991 — Oct 24, 2026

Jason Blake Saylor passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2026.

In the tender embrace of his family, Blake was the cherished son of Jason Saylor and Sara Meenach, a devoted brother to Gracelyn Saylor, Britney (Nathan) Baker, Brook Meenach, and Felix Alvarado. His spirit found joy in being a loving partner to Lindsey and a proud father to his son, Hayden. The laughter and warmth he shared with his nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Sasha, will linger in their hearts. Blake also loved his rodeo family they were a brotherhood that will forever connect all of them together.

Blakes celebrated his faith with his family as many witnessed his baptism. Faith was important to him and to his family.

Blake loved being adventurous and enjoyed the great outdoors. Blake was no stranger to grabbing his fishing pole spending hours fishing at his favorite pay lake or on The Little Miami River with his son Hayden. Blake loved going with his Dad and friends riding their dirt bikes and four wheelers It was nothing new for Blake to find his way on another adventure in search of a new trail. Every obstacle and intense trail only led to him wanting to find another road for him to venture onto.

Blake had a heart for thrill and loved any sport that could get his adrenaline racing. Blake eventually decided to give bull riding a chance and to no one’s surprise he was  roped in. Most people look at any sense of danger and walk away or stay guarded but not Blake, he looked at it square in the face and with that smile of his he would take on each challenge as if he had been doing it for years.

Blake worked as a mechanic for most of his life and if he wasn’t working hard, he definably played even harder. Even when Blake was a young boy, he never stopped pushing for a little faster, a little harder, a little more daring and still always smiling and relishing in every moment.

While Blake loved adventures his biggest adventure in life was that of his son Hayden. There was nothing they wouldn’t spend time doing together. From the first moment he saw his son there was a bond that could never be broken. The hours they would spend from the moment Hayden took his first breath to his first step, and every little steppingstone in life they took together. Being a dad was his greatest joy, and his son was his most precious blessing in life. With all the adventures he had no idea that one little person would mean so very much to him and hold his heart so closely. Blake would spend countless hours loving spending every second he could with Hayden, but when his son thought they were just fishing it was the memories he cherished because they were with him.

While we all know Blake left this earth way too soon, he has made an indelible mark on everyone that knew him. His greatest legacy was that of his family, especially his son Hayden, and his Rodeo family. Each family member will forever keep a part of him in their hearts, mirroring how he felt about them every single day.
