Jay Sr., beloved husband of Dolly (Sears) Mattingly; dear father of Jay (Linda) Mattingly, Jr., Matthew Mattingly, Karen (Daniel) West, and Joy Ritner; cherished grandfather of Jesse (Alice) Mattingly, Matthew Mattingly, Alexandra Ritner, Samuel Mattingly, Max Mattingly, and Miranda Ritner; loving great grandfather of Gianna Fugazzi and Audrey Oursler; brother of Opal, Laura, Juanita, Gladys, Robert, William, and the late Nora. Passed away on November 3, 2014 at the age of 76. Visitation will take place at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 4-7 PM. Funeral service will be on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford.
