Lillian Patterson

Lillian Patterson (nee Godwin), 92, passed away March 28, 2015. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children Frank and Edwin III, and her granddaughter Alissa. She retired after 20 plus years of service with the Cincinnati Board of Education where she spent her time developing and enhancing educational opportunities for adults. She was also known and admired for her passion of women's equal rights, which included her charitable works and contributions. Friends may visit Tuesday March 31, 2015 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Spring Grove Cemetery in the Cedars of Lebanon Memorial Mausoleum, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45232. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to the American Heart Association.
