Lois Rutherford of Mason, Ohio, passed peacefully on August 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy woven through the hearts of her family. A devoted sister to James (Geri) Taylor and Vicky (Kenny) Nichols, she was cherished by her children, Becci Perkins and Tim Rutherford. Her life was further enriched by her grandchildren: Jeffery, Heather, Brittany, Kimberly, and Scotty, and her great-grandchildren, Rhea Anderson and Regan Rutherford.
Joining her loving husband Walter "Doc" Rutherford and her parents, Sep and Ollie Taylor, her brother Rick Taylor, and her beloved son Steve in eternal rest, Lois's departure leaves a poignant space, yet her spirit dwells within those she dearly loved.
Lois’s steadfast faith guided her days. Her kitchen was a sanctuary where countless memories were made, filled with laughter and shared stories over lovingly prepared meals. Cooking was her art, family her true masterpiece. It was within these walls that traditions were nurtured and love was sown.
In every heart she touched, Lois left a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Her presence was a gift, a testament to life’s most profound achievement: family. Her indelible mark reminds all that love binds us eternally.
