BLUM, Mary Louise (nee Newton). Beloved wife of the late Roger V. Blum. Survived by her loving niece and caregiver, Shirley Bennett-Thompson; her stepdaughter, Diane (Charles) Vincent; niece, Bonnie Keesling Mozingo; good friend, Ellen Litton; great nephews, Dwayne Van Lancker, Shawn Van Lancker, Andy Mozingo; and great-great nephew, Zachary Van Lancker. She is preceded in death by her parents, J. Williard and Louise Newton; two sisters, Odetta Newton Lawson and Araetta Newton Keesling; her stepson, Mark Blum; nephew-in-law, Tom Mozingo; and niece, Laura Mozingo McFee. 

Mary Lou loved working at GE, having a successful career which allowed her to travel to many wonderful places around the world. Her job was rewarding and fulfilling, allowing her to do what she liked best such as organizing and directing people. She also enjoyed gourmet cooking, collecting cookbooks, and interior decorating. Mary Lou also enjoyed quilting with her niece, Shirley. Over the last fifteen years, Mary Lou and Shirley sewed many quilts for family and friends. 

Mary Lou passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at age 95, in Mason, Ohio.

A graveside service will be held for Mary Lou on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 at 11:30AM.
