Melissa Gail Stacy, age 44, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2026. She was born on June 6, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Melissa was the beloved wife of John Stacy; devoted mother of Jessica (Jerod) Sellers, Bella Stacy, and Brody Stacy; and cherished grandmother of Kaid, Koe, and Kallum. She also leaves behind many loving family members, friends, coworkers, and students whose lives she touched in so many ways, throughout the years.

A proud graduate of Norwood High School, Melissa went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati and her master's degree from Xavier University. She dedicated 22 years to teaching at Norwood High School, where she shared her passion for photography and digital art with countless students. Melissa was also a beloved coach, making a lasting impact on the lives of those she taught, coached, and mentored.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, Ohio 45212.

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
