CORLEY, Ralph Conner, Jr. Passed away September 21, 2021 at his Wyoming home. Ralph was born on December 17, 1931 to Ralph, Sr. and Marie Corley. He grew up in West Lafayette, IN and was a graduate of Purdue University where he earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He had a thirty-four year career as an engineer at General Electric, Evendale, where he was awarded several inventive patents.
After retirement in 1990, he and his wife, Mary, enjoyed traveling here in the U.S. and had numerous trips abroad. Ralph loved golfing with friends and he painted lovely pictures in watercolor.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister, Sherrill Weary. He is survived by Mary (Lippelman) his wife of 62 years; a son, Matt (Hildegund) Corley of Germany; and a daughter, Carolyn (Jerry) Campbell of Cincinnati, OH. Also five grandchildren, Henry and Adrian Corley of Germany; Christopher (Lydia) Campbell of Wyoming, OH; Erin Campbell of Hollywood, FL; and Samantha Campbell of Cincinnati, OH; and three great granddaughters, Claire Corley; Chloe and Cambrie Campbell. He is also survived by his sister, Edith Corley Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:30am at Episcopal Church of Ascension and Holy Trinity, 334 Burns Ave., Wyoming, OH 45215. There will be a reception and light lunch immediately following the service in the Parish Hall adjoining the church.
