Shirley Joan Steinau 83 years, our loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on October 18 2026. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on October 6, 1943 to Joseph and Ethel Finney
Shirley and Richard married on April 23, 1966. They met at age 5 and have been married 60 years. They have 3 sons—James who resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Melanie. Robert who resides in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife, Brooke. Thomas who resides in Cincinnati. Shirley leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Hunter, McKenna, Sydney and Christian. Shirley and Richard were foster parents in New Jersey for several years.
She is predeceased by her husband Richard, her parents and her sister, Patricia Britton.
A private service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio
