Sylvia Byrd

Sylvia Byrd, 77, passed away on September 30, 2023.  Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Sylvia is survived by her husband of 45 year, Jim and her five children: Rich Thomason, Denise (Johnny) Shepherd, Leslie (Frank) O’Donnell, Amanda Bacon, and James (Dana) Byrd; grandchildren: Tyler, Courtney, Rachel and Peyton, Thomason, Haley and Christopher Bullock, Victoria, Caitlin and Brennan O’Donnell, Joshua, Andrew and Matthew Bacon, Finleigh and Camden Byrd and several great grandchildren.  Sylvia retired from Mercy Mount Airy Hospital after 39 years working in the OR.  Family and friends may visit Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 4:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246.  The burial will be private.
