Thomas G. Brown
Beloved brother and uncle. Departed this life October 19th after a long illness in his 62nd year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Rose M. Brown; and great nephew, Aiden. He leaves behind his sisters; Karol, Patricia, and Mary Ann; nephew, Brian; and nieces, Maura, Ashley, and Kelsey. He is also survived by his great nephews, Henry and Xander; and great nieces, Alder, Lydia, and Madison. A whole host of cousins and friends also mourn his passing.
A passionate golfer and avid concert goer, he spearheaded the Who Memorial, and as a lifelong Norwood resident he assisted in disaster recovery efforts in his neighborhood.
He served in the Jesuit community at Xavier University as their personal chef for 14 years.
A veteran of the Army National Guard and the US Navy, he was a patriot and loved to discuss politics, sometimes loudly or in all caps.
Tom was a civil war buff and was proud that he had people on both sides of his family tree who served in the Union Army.
The family would like to thank Queen City Hospice for the loving care they provided and the peace of mind knowing he was cared for.
