HIMESVernon Joe, age 82 of Springdale, Ohio passed away in his sleep on March 31, 2010 after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; daughter, Lynda (James) Harvey; son, Steven (Terri) Himes; son, David (Marissa) Himes; brothers, Al and Dan Himes; sister, Elizabeth Travis; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Joe was a veteran of WWII and retired from Proctor and Gamble in 1987 after a 38-year career. Visitation will be Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, followed by a graveside service at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash, Ohio.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Cincinnati.,
