Ann Rork

May 22, 1958 — January 27, 2016

Rork, Ann Elizabeth (Kinne) passed peacefully among loving family members at the Daniel Drake Center on Wednesday, January 27th at 10:00 PM at the age of 57, after a very short battle with cancer.

Ann was born on May 22, 1958 in Batesville, IN and grew up in Manchester, IN.  She graduated from the College of Mt. Saint Joseph.  Ann moved to Cincinnati, OH and began her career as a Social Worker, dedicating her time to children in need, as well as mentally and physically challenged individuals. Ann was also the supervisor of the Welfare Department with the Council on Aging.

Ann was a very sentimental woman and happily cherished all the little things that were given to her.  She was full of life and a wonderful listener, as well as a voice or reason to all her family and friends.  Ann was very family-oriented and was often referred to as the "glue" that held her family together.  Her Christian faith was a comfort to her during her trials.

She was an intelligent, caring and charming woman, who wanted nothing more than to be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother.  Beloved wife of Clayton, daughter of Margaret and the late Donald, loving mother of Brandon and Alishia, grandmother of Donovan, Dominic, Dallton, Darrion and Alexandra Ann, precious sister of Mary, Stan, Steven, the late James, Susan and Nicholas, as well as a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Ann will always be forever in our hearts.

Visitation is Monday, February 1st, 2016 from 5:00PM until time of service at 7:00PM at Vorhis and Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, Ohio 45212.
