Jeffrey Hessel

Jeffrey Alan Hessel, 56, passed away on April 28, 2020.  Loving husband of Joan (Wachsman).  Beloved father of Tara Baker (Chris) and grandfather of Jamara Raines.  Predeceased by his beloved daughter Christine and his parents Raymond and Margaret.  Jeff leaves three siblings, Sally Umbach, Doug Hessel and Sandy Hessel and many beloved in-laws and nieces and nephews.  Jeff was a generous soul.  He enjoyed being with his family and many friends.  Jeff was a trivia buff.  He loved classic rock and history.  Jeff loved his church and took action when he saw a need.  He was a good friend to many.  Family and friends may visit Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Zion United Church of Christ, 2301 Indian Mound Ave, Norwood OH, 45212 from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Zion United Church of Christ at the above address or online at zionchurchucc.org
