MEENTS, John J. Age 74. Devoted husband of Valerie (nee Meale) Meents. Cherished father of Kerrie (Josh) Schaeper and Adam (Nancy) Meents. Proud grandfather of Nathan, Logan, Landan, Shelbie, Carter, and Melanie. Dear brother of Janet (the late Bill) Fox, Charlene (the late Dale) Westrich, Beverly (Tom) Smith, the late Ronald (late Sandy) Meents, the late George Meents, Vivian (Jim) Runk, Barbara (Tom) Seibert, Bill (Ann) Meents, Kathy (John) Thompson, Denise (Paul) Stone, Gary (the late Nancy) Meents, Tom Meents, Mary Meents, and Larry Meents. Eldest son of the late George & Catherine (nee Schmitt) Meents. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Andrea (Larry) Ware and Dianne (Eric) Willemstein; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Johnny passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 26, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Graveside service, with military honors, will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428 on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 12:30 PM.
