GOLDBERG, Mary M. (nee Malone) of Glendale. Beloved wife of the late Harold B. Goldberg and the late Harley G. Page. Devoted mother of Michelle G. (Rhys) Evans and Gail Goldberg.

Mary passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 91 years.

Mary was very involved in the Glendale community and participated in Glendale Long Range Master Plan committees, Glendale Heritage Preservation – Board, Trustee and Museum Volunteer. She was a member of Glendale First Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, coffee hour chairperson and Deacon. She participated in Save Glendale School as an organizer and steering committee member and was a Glendale School Volunteer Aid for 1st grade reading. Other memberships included Glendale PTA Board Member as Chairperson Room Mothers, Brownie and Girl Scout leader, Princeton High School Band Booster-Home Concession Stand Co-Manager and fruitcake/candy chairperson for many years. Mary belonged to Friends of the Hamilton County Public Library as one of the founding members, charter year and was a part of the Cincinnati Music Drama Guild (opera in English) fundraiser. Her love for animals, nature, and historical preservation, led her to be a member of Save the Animals Foundation, Ohio Alleycat Rescue, SPCA Cincinnati, National Audubon Society, Sierra Club, Colonial Williamsburg, The Trust for Public Lands, and other similar organizations. She was a supporter of the Freestore Foodbank and member of many organizations assisting Veterans such as, American Civil Liberties Union & Amnesty International. Mary also campaigned for many causes and candidates such as Friends of the Peace Corps-Cincinnati Chapter (co-founder with husband Harold & Co-Chair), various groups led by Rev. Maurice McCrackin, Cincinnati Human Rights Association (branch of C.O.R.E) involved in many first efforts to challenge, Coney Island racial discrimination, Glendale Democratic Club as Treasurer/Secretary, Glendale Democratic Precinct Captain for many years, Friends of Wayne Coates for 32nd District Representative, and Ohio House- steering committee and campaign volunteer.
Mary loved cats and all animals/wildlife. She cared deeply for her community, The Village of Glendale.
