Mitchell Bowman

July 31, 1959 — October 20, 2020

BOWMAN, Mitchell Val "Mitch" devoted husband of Cynthia (Nee Dezarn) went home to be with Jesus on October 20th, 2020. He was a beloved brother to Cindy, Chris (Joe), Debi (Frank), and Valerie (Jack), stepfather to Kelly, grandfather to Hailey and Jamari, and adored uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Alice Bowman, and his sister, Leslie Ingram (nee Bowman) who are now enjoying eternal life with Mitch in the presence of our Lord.
Mitch, an animal lover and dog dad, had an incredible sense of humor, a quick wit, and generous and loving heart. He loved to read and was a lifelong learner who felt just as comfortable having a deep philosophical conversation as he was watching a Bengals game or listening to his stereo. He had the strength and spirit of a lion overcoming several struggles in his life including a battle with multiple myeloma where he overcame and had been in durable remission for several years. He was a nursing home administrator prior to his retirement where he took pride in his work and that of his team and cared deeply for residents he served. In April of 2019 he married Cynthia who will tell you that he was her best friend and the love of her life. He will be missed by all who knew him, and our family will never be quite the same without him. We love you, Mitch. Until we see you again.
